Music stars are notorious for accumulating cars, and these collections can be placed into a number of major categories. Some buy the flashiest rides of the year -- this is pretty common if you think back to episodes of "MTV's Cribs" -- while others buy classic cars they wanted as kids before they became famous. A handful of recording artists who have made it even try to collect cars with the goal of turning a profit; Jay Kay of funk band Jamiroquai and a frequent guest on the old British version of "Top Gear" fits into this category with his curated collection of supercars and classics. Then there are famous artists who are seemingly unable to part with cars they have casually come to own over the years. We'll call this the Hoarder category.

We'll leave it up to you to decide which category Prince's car collection fits into. A probate court filing in Minnesota has compiled a list of vehicles that belonged to the late artist.
