1977 Chevelle SE

This is an ultra rare 1977 Chevy Chevelle, Malibu Classic with T-tops, Laguna quarter window covers and a rear spoiler. The back of the car states "Limited Edition Chevelle" on the trunk and has Malibu Classic emblems on the body. The car was built for Quality Cheverolet in Witchita Kansas. There were somewhere in between 152 and 177 of these cars made from what I have been told

Thanks for the link Lou. Those things are ultra obscure but unless it is perfect I can't see it being worth the money to restore. At least it has the rear spoiler, but I wonder if the front spoiler is still around? Perhaps the unique parts could be swapped onto another clean & solid '77 Malibu Classic. The car kind of reminds me of the '77 Pontiac Lemans Can Am.

The SE would have used Western Cyclone wheels, a turbine wheel with 15 spokes. Also the T-roof panels look larger than the typical Hurst Hatches that were popular back in '77. Back at my high school a guy had a brand new '77 Monte Carlo with Hurst Hatches (Daddy supplied new cars every year to him and his brother, nice).
